MTAB acquired tour transportation company Mikael Bollhem AB on 1 February. Founder and owner Mikael Bollhem and his
employees will continue running the business under the MTAB brand.
Since the 1980s, Bollhem has been one of Sweden’s leading tour transportation companies, providing tour transportation for many Swedish and major international acts.
“We are extremely pleased to be sealing this deal with Mikael,” states Simon Fors, CEO of MTAB. “Bollhem is a very well run and well known company in the industry and has a superb reputation for high quality.”
MTAB has its sights set on growth in the tour transportation segment.

Leading player in tour transportation
Mikael Bollhem has been looking for a larger partner for a while now, as a means of developing his business.
“I look forward to bringing my experience and expertise to MTAB, so that we can build up Sweden’s leading tour transportation service,” he comments. “We will also be offering tour transportation services across the Nordic region and Europe. This has given me a new drive and enthusiasm, and I feel the same energy from Simon Fors and his colleagues.”
Mikael Bollhem will work from the head office in Bromma and will be part of the senior management team for MTAB’s Turnéservice division, along with Sten Jogbäck and MTAB’s head of theatre and concert transportation, Gustav Forsell.
In addition to moving all the equipment for stage shows, Bollhem has spent over 20 years providing transportation for the Cullberg Ballet’s tours and the majority of orchestras in the Nordic region, as well as a host of major TV productions. Bollhem AB has sales of around SEK 7 million, four employees and a modern fleet of vehicles, with four trucks and eight trailers.
