Successful Collaboration Between Trampolinspecialisten and MTAB
At MTAB’s warehouse in Gothenburg, there is bouncing going on as soon as the spring sun makes an appearance. The collaboration with Trampolinspecialisten means that various kinds of trampolines are displayed and sold directly from the warehouse.
Trampolinspecialisten is a family business that has been selling trampolines successfully for more than 25 years. The company has developed its retail solutions in order to keep pace with changes to the market and purchasing behaviour. The current solution is that Trampolinspecialisten outsources its retail outlets and sales together with stock holding around the country. At the moment, it is possible to try out and purchase the trampolines at MTAB’s warehouses in Gothenburg, Malmö and Stockholm. The most recent establishment was in Gothenburg in 2018.
“We have our own warehouse, showroom and store in Täby in Stockholm. But as e-commerce has become dominant in recent years, we have chosen to outsource our retail outlets and demonstrations to an increasing degree. In Gothenburg, customers are welcome to test, squeeze and touch. Some buy directly in the store from MTAB, some go home and order online”, says Tomas Stark, MD of Trampolinspecialisten.
Always staff on site
The collaboration with MTAB means that the trampolines are displayed at the warehouse. Customers are also able to buy directly in the on-site retail outlet. Everything is done through contact with MTAB’s staff. Kai Klint, foreman at MTAB, explains that the retail outlet and warehouse in Gothenburg also makes it easier for Trampolinspecialisten to branch out into Norway and Denmark. The second season has just started in Gothenburg:
“The trampolines have been set up since April. When the weather is good, lots of people usually show up. Our staff know a lot about the products and can provide advice before purchase. There are always staff on hand and that gives customers the opportunity to ask questions and get an answer straight away”.
The same feeling for service
Trampolinspecialisten sells good-quality trampolines without middlemen. Tomas Stark explains that, when purchasing a premium product, the customer must be able to try before they buy.
“We share MTAB’s determination and feeling for service. Like us, they are prepared to go that extra mile to ensure really good service. We think it’s important that the quality of our products is also apparent in the service and at the point of purchase. We could not have found a better partner for this solution”, concludes Tomas Stark.
